Electrostatic spray

Powder coating is a modern and popular dry finishing process. Powder coating is used on a wide range of products and represents over 15% of the total industrial finishing market. More and more manufacturers are beginning to use powder coatings because of their high-quality, durable finish. This allows for maximized production and a simpler environmental compliance. Powder coatings are available in a unlimited range of colors and textures. State-of-the-art technology has resulted in excellent performance properties.

What is powder coating?

Powder coating is environmentally safe and we are EPA and AQMD licensed.

Based on a polymer resin system, powder coatings are combined with curatives, pigments, and other additives. These pigments are ground into a consistency similar to flour.

Application uses a process called electrostatic spray deposition that uses a spray gun to deposit the powder. After, the part is entered into a curing oven where the heat is applied to create long molecular chains of paint.

How powder

coating works:

Because there are no harsh chemicals or solvents to evaporate, powder coating has been an industry leader in green technology. Powder coatings are used in thousands of applications a year and are commonly mistaken for liquid paint. Because of the long lasting benefits and environmental value, manufacturers have been using powder coating for their products for years.
